Project Goal: To build a mobile app to introduce a variety of books of a particular genre which people can buy or borrow.
Contextual Inquiry & Customer Interview: The design team conducted the ethnographic research, which is based on user behavior to understand their needs and wants. This was done by interviewing people who are avid readers and those who do not read books.
Affinity Mapping: The team identified themes that are of particular importance based on the interviews.
Background:
Bookspace is a digital platform aimed at book enthusiasts, designed to connect readers with a diverse range of books across various genres. The app seeks to address the growing demand for accessible reading options, catering to both avid readers and those new to reading, by offering features to buy or borrow books seamlessly.
Objective:
To develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy that enhances user engagement, improves accessibility, and positions Bookspace as a leading book discovery and reading app.
